Mechanical Failure Sidelines Flinner During April 18th Program

Allison Park, PA (April 23rd, 2015) – Colton Flinner will return to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway this Saturday night, April 25th with intentions to earn his first victory of the 2015 season. Flinner, who suffered from mechanical failure last Saturday night at ‘Pittsburgh’s Monster Half-Mile,’ will enter the crate late model portion of the April 25th program; a division that has been good to the Allison Park, Pennsylvania native for the last few seasons. Flinner, a former two-time crate late model track ‘champ’ at P.P.M.S., was a multi-time winner at the speedway in 2014; including back-to-back wins during the ‘Pittsburgher 100’ weekend.

“Tough weekend last weekend…not how we wanted to start our year” said Colton Flinner, “We had some things go bad mechanically but we’ll get everything fixed and ready to go for this Saturday…I am definitely excited to get back to the track…feels great to be back in a late model…I just want to thank all of our sponsors and people involved with this team…I’m thankful that I get to race another season.”

Despite focusing his attention recently on the crate late model ranks, Colton Flinner will enter super late model competition in the weeks to come. The driver of the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, no. 75 late model plans to enter multiple super late model events around the region.
