BAPS Night Ahead for Chase Dietz

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (May 11, 2016) – Chase Dietz has been on the move since returning to competition with his family-owned operation, improving noticeably each time he is on the race track. The York, Pennsylvania, native has recorded two starts since returning from his month-long absence, highlighting the last few weeks with a 12th place performance at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, May 7. Despite a few “bugs” that have yet to be worked out, Dietz will roll into BAPS Night at Lincoln Speedway with plenty of speed, as well as plenty of confidence.

“We still have a few bugs that we need to work out, but we are on the right track,” explained Chase Dietz. “We’ve been improving every week. I’m excited to be racing with my family, and we are having a blast, we just need to get ourselves some sort of a rhythm built. I think we have the potential to be very fast. We’ll get there soon. We still have plenty of racing left on our schedule.”

BAPS Night at Lincoln Speedway will feature a $5,000-to-win main event on Saturday night, May 14, the last program before World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series teams make an appearance on Wednesday, May 18. Dietz is a one-time main event winner at Lincoln Speedway during 410 sprint car competition. The third generation racer also owns a 358 sprint car track championship in the Pigeon Hills, accomplished during the 2014 season.

“We’re looking forward to it,” said Dietz about the upcoming weekend. “They are going to use a 2-lap challenge to determine the top-12 starting positions for the feature on Saturday. It would be a lot of fun to be a part of that. I can’t thank my family and supporters enough for this opportunity. We have the car almost where it needs to be. All we need now is track time.”
