Full FAST Agenda Ahead for Cody Bova

STRUTHERS, Ohio (May 11, 2016) – After two weeks of wet weather, Cody Bova will finally return to the driver’s seat. The Struthers, Ohio, native will resume his 2016 campaign with back-to-back nights of JLH General Contractors FAST 305 Series presented by Engine Pro competition on Friday and Saturday, May 13-14. Bova, a full-time competitor with the series in 2016, will visit Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway during the upcoming FAST 305 Series doubleheader, routine destinations on the FAST campaign.
“We’ve been sitting around for too long,” explained Bova. “It’s tough to stay motivated when the weather is always a factor. Hopefully things clear out and we stay dry this weekend.”
The weekend will begin with a visit to the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday night, May 13. It will be the first FAST 305 Series program of the 2016 season at the Attica highbanks. The home of “Ohio’s Finest Racing” was originally scheduled to host the FAST 305 season opener on April 22, but was cancelled due to rain.
FAST action will resume on Saturday evening, May 14, at the “Track That Action Built” – Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. Bova finished 14th during his 2016 FAST 305 Series debut at Fremont Speedway on April 23, his lone start at the facility in 2016.
With only one round of FAST 305 Series action in the books, Bova, pilot of the Bova Racing, J.S. Bova Excavating, AIMI Product Imagining, LLC., Richardson Tree Service, BC Contracting, Gressman Powersports, KAPtured by Kirstie Photography, Welding Tech, Fully Injected Motorsports, Classic Ink USA, No. 20B, currently sits 14th in the JLH General Contractors FAST 305 Series presented by Engine Pro standings. Including the upcoming weekend doubleheader, there are 12 rounds remaining on the schedule, with major traveling still ahead.
“We still have a long season to go,” said Cody Bova. “Plenty of time to get some momentum built and plenty of time to work our way up in points. Of course, I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without the help from my family and sponsors. They’ve all been behind me since the start. We have a great situation and we never want that to change.”
