Bradley Howard Will Join Arctic Cat All Stars on Home Territory
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
ETTERS, Pa. (April 19, 2016) – Bradley Howard will resume his rookie campaign with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions this Saturday and Sunday, April 23-24, with visits to two, well-known Central Pennsylvania half-mile ovals. Howard, pilot of the Rocket Drywall, DeRock Electric Company, Harcon Construction, J&W Ace Hardware, Stauffer Motorsports, No. 49H, will join his fellow Arctic Cat All Star travelers at Port Royal Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway; one of the shortest trips of the season for Howard and his crew. The Etters, Pennsylvania, native hopes to use “home territory” to his advantage this weekend and earn solid finishes against the Arctic Cat All Stars and “Pennsylvania Posse.”
“This has been an amazing experience so far,” explained Howard regarding his travels with the Arctic Cat All Stars. “This is what every racer dreams about; traveling and racing all over the map, multiple times a week. I’m learning more and more every time I hit the track, and that is really motivating. We won’t have a lot of travel time this weekend being that we are pretty close to home. I’m excited to race.”
The upcoming weekend tour through Central Pennsylvania will begin on Saturday evening, April 23, at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal. The “Speed Palace” will host the inaugural Keith Kauffman Classic awarding a $5,000 top prize, the first of three appearances by the Arctic Cat All Stars at Port Royal Speedway in 2016. The weekend will conclude on Sunday evening, April 24, at the Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove. The Ray Tilley Classic will be the headline event, also awarding a $5,000 top prize.
“Should be a fun weekend,” said Howard. “These places are big and carry a lot of speed. Should be an exciting weekend for all of us including the fans. I just want to thank my family, crew and dedicated sponsors for their help and support. Being close to home this weekend will allow everyone to come up and support us. We are all anxious to get started.”
Bradley Howard will enter the weekend with two feature starts against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, finishing as high as 23rd in the running order, which was scored during action at Wayne County Speedway on Saturday, April 16. The Arctic Cat All Star rookie will enter the Central Pennsylvania swing just outside of the top-20 in the current series standings.
“We have a long season ahead and a lot to learn,” explained Howard. “We’ll keep plugging away and keep working to improve. Staying out here with these guys will only make me better. I’m already noticing improvements.”
