Wampum, Pennsylvania native and Team Fully Injected member, Brandon Matus, will look to score another Sharon Speedway victory later this evening – Tuesday, July 10th- at the annual Lou Blaney Memorial featuring a $5,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars, and a full program for the Big Block Modifieds. Matus picked up a Sharon Speedway ‘410’ victory earlier in 2012, during the 30th annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ back on Tuesday, June 26th. The win was Matus’ first career All-Star Circuit of Champions triumph, and his second career ‘410’ sprint car victory. The All-Star Circuit of Champions speedweek win was worth $5,000.
Tonight’s Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway will feature three current NASCAR stars in ‘410’ sprint car competition; including Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, and Dave Blaney.
Advance ticket holders will be granted admission one hour earlier at 3 p.m. for preferred seating. Gates will open for all others at 4 p.m. Racing will begin at 7 p.m. Adult grandstand admission is $20. Kids 13 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.
