Brent Marks Locked Into Knoxville Nationals A-Main
Will Race for $150,000 Later This Evening

Knoxville, IA (August 15, 2015) – After finishing third on Friday night, August 14, during FVP Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Store main event competition, Myerstown, Pennsylvania native Brent Marks officially guaranteed himself a starting position in the $150,000-to-win, Knoxville Nationals A-main later this evening; Saturday, August 15. The top-four finishers from Friday night’s program each earned starting positions in Saturday night’s Knoxville Nationals 50-lap finale, with those four drivers set to start in positions 17-20.
“This is amazing” said Brent Marks, “The entire night went our way and it really feels amazing. I just want to thank this entire team and all of our sponsors and supporters. Without all of their help and support, we would not be out here. We will work as hard as we can tonight and attempt to move towards the front.”
Brent Marks finished on the podium during the entire Friday night program at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa; earning the evening’s fastest time during qualifying time trials, finishing third during heat race action and eventually finishing third during the 25-lap main event after starting on the pole. The Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M team is scheduled to start 19th on the grid during the 50-lap, FVP Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Store A-main later tonight.
“We have some work to do starting that far back but we are ready for the challenge” said Brent Marks, “We have 50 laps to work our way forward. I’ve never been so excited.”
