Miley Earns Sunday Night ULMS Victory at Tri-City Raceway Park
On Top of Current ULMS Standings

Pittsburgh, PA (August 16, 2015) – Jared Miley Racing captured their seventh victory of the 2015 season on Sunday night, August 16; earning the ULMS Racing Series super late model victory at the Tri-City Raceway Park near Franklin, Pennsylvania. For Jared Miley, it was his fifth super late model victory of the current season and his first at the Franklin oval. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native topped a small, but talent-filled roster at Tri-City Raceway Park on Sunday night; finishing third during heat race competition before winning the $3,000 main event over the 15-car starting grid. Jared Miley is now the current ULMS Racing Series point leader.
“We have our program rolling in the right direction right now” said Jared Miley, “We’ve been hitting our marks and it is really paying off. Our deal is a family deal; everyone works hard and takes a lot of pride in this race team. Hopefully we can keep our positive momentum going and find a few more wins this year.”
To add to their recent accomplishments, Jared Miley and the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Ireland’s Bait Shop of Elk County,Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Schaeffer’s Racing Oil, #H1 team found super late model victory lane last Friday evening, August 7, at the Dog Hollow Speedway near Strongstown, Pennsylvania. “The Jet” earned the UFo late model sanctioned “Sam Barley Memorial” worth $3,000 during the evening program; starting the 41-lap main event from the pole position. Despite starting on top, Miley was unable to make the winning pass until lap 31; getting by race leader Scott Rhodes while navigating traffic. There were 31 UFo super late models entered for the “Sam Barley Memorial.” Jared Miley is now the all-time leading winner with the UFo late model series with seven total feature victories.
Jared Miley will continue his 2015 campaign this Sunday evening, August 23, at the Eriez Speedway near Erie, Pennsylvania. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will headline the Sunday show, with some of the nation’s most talented super late model drivers and teams expected to be in attendance. Miley will join the national travelers on August 23; continuing his search for that career-first World of Outlaws Late Model Series victory. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion finished third with the “Outlaws” during “Firecracker 100” preliminary competition back on Thursday, June 25, at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.
Plans for Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, have not yet been determined.
“Always excited to race against the World of Outlaws” said Jared Miley, “They are the best in the business. We’ve been close on a few occasions, but hopefully we can get that first series win on Sunday at Eriez.”
