Chase Dietz Earns Career-First “410” Victory
Action Continues Saturday and Sunday at Lincoln and Susquehanna

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (August 17, 2015) – Central Pennsylvania youngster Chase Dietz etched his name into Lincoln Speedway history on Saturday evening, August 15, by adding his name to the long and prestigious list of sprint car feature winners in the Pigeon Hills of Pennsylvania. Dietz, pilot of the Scott Gobrecht owned, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, #44, earned a career-first “410” sprint car feature victory on Saturday evening, August 15, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The recent high school graduate and “410” sprint car rookie started fifth during the 25-lap feature program, taking command officially with 11 laps already recorded. Dietz would hold on to win by nearly 1.5 seconds. The win was his third of the season; adding his career-first accomplishment to a pair of “358” sprint car victories at Williams Grove Speedway.

“This is incredible” said Chase Dietz, “We’ve been working all year for this. I don’t even know where to start…Scott Gobrecht gave me a great opportunity this year. It has been an absolute privilege racing for him and his family. He gives me a perfect race car each and every night we go out. We’ve struggled some this year, but that was to be expected. Experience was obviously limited on my part, but I was confident that we would eventually find our comfort zone and get things rolling. I just want to thank everyone involved with this race team. We still have a lot of racing left this year, so we’ll see if we can repeat soon.”

Chase Dietz and the Scott Gobrecht #44 team will return to Abbottstown on Saturday evening, August 22, for BAPS Night. Dietz has one victory and a total of three top-ten finishes thus far in 2015 at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway. The third generation sprint car driver entered the August 15 program 15th in the track championship standings.

If all goes well on Saturday night, Chase Dietz will return to competition with Scott Gobrecht on Sunday evening, August 23, at the Susquehanna Speedway Park near Newberrytown, Pennsylvania. The York, Pennsylvania native finished third during his most recent “410” start at “S.S.P.” back on Sunday, July 19th; at the time, a season-high finish for Chase Dietz during “410” competition.

“We’ll head into the weekend with a lot of confidence” said Dietz, “We are all very excited to get back to Lincoln and Susquehanna this weekend. Hopefully we can use what we’ve learned and make another visit to victory lane.”
