Brent Marks Sweeps Tuscarora Weekend with UNOH All Stars
Jim Nace Memorial/National Open at Selinsgrove On Deck

Myerstown, PA (September 14, 2015) – The last week has been just about perfect for Myerstown, Pennsylvania’s Brent Marks, now with three consecutive victories since winning the “Labor Day Classic” at Port Royal Speedway on Monday afternoon, September 7. Marks, who remained winless in 2015 until his “Labor Day Classic” triumph, can now officially put three checks in the win column after sweeping the Tuscarora weekend at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. The “Myerstown Missile” earned the “Night Before The 50” victory worth $5,000 at the “Speed Palace” on Friday evening, September 11, against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, all before earning over $12,600 for his “Tuscarora 50” win on Sunday evening, September 13. Marks captured the 48th annual “Tuscarora 50” victory from a 13th starting position.
“What a weekend!” said Brent Marks, “This is really just a dream come true. We’ve been working hard all year and I’m happy it is finally paying off. It’s tough to go that long without a win, especially when you know your team has the potential to earn them. We’ve been close, but now we can rest a little easier. I just want to thank my entire team and all of our sponsors for sticking with me this season. We have a lot of racing left so hopefully we can keep this streak alive and find a few more wins before the year is over.”
Brent Marks will continue his 2015 campaign with a pair of central Pennsylvania events during the upcoming weekend. The pilot of the BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M will visit the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday, September 18, and the Selinsgrove Speedway near Selinsgrove on Saturday, September 19. The historic half-mile at Williams Grove Speedway will host a regular program for the 410 sprint cars on Friday evening. Selinsgrove Speedway will showcase the 33rd annual “Jim Nace Memorial/National Open” worth $10,000 on Saturday night.
“We are close to home again this weekend which is nice” said Brent Marks, “We’ll try to use our momentum to our advantage this weekend and pick up right where we left off.”
On a special note, Brent Marks is the first driver to sweep the “Night Before The 50” and “Tuscarora 50” since Fred Rahmer in 2005.
