Cody Bova Will Visit Fremont for “Jim Ford Classic” Weekend
Bova In Search of Win #8 in 2015

Struthers, Ohio (September 14, 2015) – After plans to enter action at the Tri-City Raceway Park near Franklin, Pennsylvania on September 13 were scratched due to Mother Nature, Cody Bova will have another opportunity to continue his 2015 campaign this Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, with a full slate of 305 sprint car competition at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. Bova, a Struthers, Ohio native, will make the trek west to Fremont to participate in the annual “Jim Ford Classic” weekend at “The Track That Action Built,” featuring back-to-back programs for the 305 sprint cars. Bova has made select appearances at the Fremont oval during the course of his career, but hopes to add his name to the “Jim Ford Classic” win list as an underdog this weekend. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will also be on the weekend agenda, featuring back-to-back 410 sprint car programs during the two-day spectacle.
“We really enjoy racing at Fremont” said Cody Bova, “I’ve only had the opportunity to race there a few times, but I’ve always enjoyed it. We don’t have a lot going on around home, so I wanted to take advantage of that and travel back to Fremont. The competition in our division is really tough there and there is always a great car count. Racing with those guys will only make you better. We’re pretty excited to share the weekend with the All Stars. Gives me a chance to watch those guys and try to learn from them.”
Cody Bova will enter the “Jim Ford Classic” weekend at Fremont Speedway with six main event victories on the year. The pilot of the J.S. Bova Excavating, AIMI Product Imagining, LLC., Richardson Tree Service, BC Contracting, J.S. Paris Excavating, #20B, 305 sprint car was a regular competitor at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania during the 2015 season, ultimately earning the 2015 track championship. Bova owns wins at Mercer Raceway Park and Thunder Mountain Speedway this season.
