Brent Marks Will Join WoO at ‘Brad Doty Classic’ and ‘Kings Royal’
Earns Pair of Top-Ten Finishes in Central PA

Myerstown, PA (July 13th, 2015) – Once again in 2015, Brent Marks and the familiar Brent Marks Racing ‘19M’ operation will join some of the greatest sprint car drivers in the world for a full weekend of competition. Marks will venture west for a pair of high profile World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series events in the state of Ohio this Thursday through Saturday, beginning with a visit to the Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio.
“Always ready to get back out on the road” said Brent Marks, “We want to race with the World of Outlaws as often as we can. Racing with them will only help us improve as a team, and me as a driver. The events this weekend have been circled on our race calendar since the World of Outlaws schedule was released. We’re ready to go.”
Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, no. 19M ‘410’ sprint car, will launch his upcoming weekend with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at the Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio on Thursday, July 16th. The ‘Myerstown Missile’ will join ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ for the 27th annual ‘Brad Doty Classic’ presented by Ohio Logistics. Marks joined the ‘Brad Doty Classic’ field in 2014 but did not qualify for the A-main; scored 14th during ‘Last Chance Showdown’ competition.
After their visit to Limaland Motorsports Park, Brent Marks Racing will move ahead to the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio; set to join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for the 32nd annual ‘Kings Royal’ worth $50,000. The 2015 edition of the ‘Kings Royal’ weekend will take shape on Friday and Saturday, July 17th & 18th, consisting of two complete programs for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Marks entered the 31st annual ‘Kings Royal’ in 2014 and qualified for the $50,000-to-win A-main on Saturday night; finishing 19th officially in the running order.
Brent Marks will enter the weekend with a little boost of extra momentum. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania native earned back-to-back top-ten finishes in central Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday, July 10th & 11th. Marks finished seventh at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday night, July 10th, followed by a fourth place performance on Saturday, July 11th at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania.
Brent Marks will hunt for a career-first World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory during the upcoming weekend, as well as his first victory of the 2015 season.
“We are going to travel west with a positive attitude and work to finish higher than we did last year” said Brent Marks, “We were in a good position last year at the ‘Kings Royal’ but ended up getting in a little bit of trouble. Hopefully this year we can put ourselves in a similar position but move forward. I want to thank this entire ‘19M’ team and all of our sponsors and supporters. The year has been pretty good to us so far. We’ve been close, but not close enough. We hope to capitalize this weekend.”
