MAUMEE, OH (3-20-13) by Scott Porter – F.A.S.T. Public Relations

The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service is pleased to announce a new addition to the organization’s promotional team in 2013. Brittany Holland will join the F.A.S.T. series as “Miss Fremont/Attica Sprint Title” and will help with various promotional tasks throughout the season. Miss F.A.S.T. will promote both the race events at the tracks and also other events for charity throughout the season. She will also assist with merchandise sales and promotional materials to bring more awareness to the series sponsors.

“I’m really excited to be part of the F.A.S.T. organization,” says Brittany. “I love what it does to promote dirt track racing and continuing to build relationships between area tracks. By giving area drivers extra incentive to drive in races at our local tracks instead of traveling elsewhere, it really makes sure the fans get a great show.”

Brittany is already well known for her role as Ms. Eldora Speedway Co-Queen and Miss Ohio Motor Speedway. She has made a lot of new friends in the racing world in that role and realized she wants to promote the sport and take on a more active role in marketing and public relations. She approached the organizers of the F.A.S.T. Series with her idea to become a part of the team and assist the series with its efforts in social media promotion, merchandise sales, public relations and branding.
“I’m really excited to introduce other people to this great series as well as these two tracks,” says Brittany. “I love all the different divisions of dirt track racing, but sprints are especially exciting! While I love watching the big name racers that Attica and Fremont bring in, it’s awesome to see the young, up-and-coming drivers in our sport be able to compete on a weekly basis and see how they improve.”

“The F.A.S.T. organization is pleased to have Brittany on board in 2013,” said series organizer Bryan Autullo. “Brittany helped us with our series awards banquet at the end of 2012 and she came to us wanting to do more in 2013. I think she will bring some new fans to our series and to these tracks with her love for dirt track racing. She will be helping out with our social media efforts and the F.A.S.T. Facebook page as well as many other interactions with the fans both on and off the web throughout the season. We have some additional driver and sponsor promotions to announce soon with the help of other volunteers and we’re making an effort in our 5th season to bring more awareness to what we’re doing in Northern Ohio.

Brittany is also involved with several charities and will collaborate with the F.A.S.T. Series and the tracks to bring more awareness to those organizations. No Kid Hungry, Speedway Children’s Charities, West Ohio Food Bank, and Autism Speaks are some of the charities she will be promoting. The FAST Series already works with the Hoserville Ohio organization and Toys-For-Tots. Brittany will be found promoting various events to benefit these organizations throughout the season.

Brittany is studying at Ohio Northern University and sees her involvement with this series, and with dirt track racing in general, as an educational experience. She went on to say, “I’m a Public Relations and Communications double major, looking to add a Social Media minor this fall. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in public relations working with a race track or team. In the meantime, I plan on doing whatever I can to promote our local tracks and drivers, as well as dirt track racing as a sport!”

Brittany will be hosting a Drivers For Kids event on May 24th where you can come and meet drivers, get autographs, enjoy race-related activities. Raffle prizes donated by race teams will be given out during the event. Tickets for the raffle prizes can be earned by bringing canned goods for the West Ohio Food Bank.
