JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 29, 2019) – Despite immense travel, hot temperatures and stout competition, Brock Zearfoss’ four-day trek through the Midwest with the All Star Circuit of Champions proved to be a success story, completing the four-race stretch with two top-ten finishes, as well as an 11th place outcome during the $26,000-to-win Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, on July 28.

Zearfoss, driver of the Premier Motorsports/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/River City Wood Products/No. 70 sprint car, earned his top-ten finishes in consecutive fashion during starts at Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wisconsin, on Thursday, July 25, and Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota, on Friday, July 26. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ finished sixth and eighth, respectively, winning his heat race at Plymouth Dirt Track along the way.

Despite being scored 24th at the Sprint Car Capital of the World on Saturday, July 27, the Knoxville Raceway start allowed Zearfoss the opportunity to gather valuable information, which he will use during the coveted Knoxville Nationals that kicks off Wednesday, August 7.

“It was a solid weekend for our team. I’m proud of my guys and what we were able to accomplish. A lot of travel like that can be very demanding, but we put it all together,” Brock Zearfoss said, a two-time All Star Circuit of Champions winner in 2019. “All of our focus is on the Knoxville Nationals. We came out here to put ourselves in position to qualify for the big show on Saturday night, so that’s exactly what we are going to do.”

With all eyes on Knoxville Raceway, Brock Zearfoss will spend the next several days, including the upcoming weekend, preparing a car for the $150,000-to-win Knoxville Nationals. If all goes according to plan, Zearfoss will enter the annual Capitani Classic at Knoxville Raceway on Sunday, August 4; a perfect test session before Nationals action ignites on August 7.
