JONESTOWN, PA (May 1, 2017) – Set to debut during the Yellow Breeches 500 event at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 5, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss is now the hired gun for Central Pennsylvania revived car owner, Aaron Long. Long, an East Berlin, Pennsylvania, native and founder of AL Driveline, has been hard at work building a new team since late-2016, approaching Zearfoss about the opportunity in November just after the World of Outlaws World Finals.

“To have the opportunity to drive for Aaron and his wife Lisa is really exciting. They could have picked anyone for the job. I’m definitely thrilled,” Brock Zearfoss said, a three-time Central Pennsylvania 410 sprint car main event winner. “Aaron actually approached me about this deal in November.  We talked again during the PRI Trade Show in Indianapolis, and it was then when we really started to lay down some ideas and put things in motion. By the time January rolled around, things were all set in stone. It’s great to see a new 410 sprint car team here in Central Pennsylvania.”

Subject to change, Brock Zearfoss and Aaron Long will follow a select schedule in 2017, highlighting much of their racing calendar with Friday night events at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg. The team will fly the No. 58 on the sideboard, Long’s former number during competition in the 358 cubic inch ranks.

“This is a rich man’s sport and one of the reasons Lisa and I chose Brock is because of his ability to properly represent sponsors,” Aaron Long said. “Without our sponsors, we have no team. H&N Landscaping came on as our primary sponsor for this season, and we also have RV 4 Wheel Drive, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill and Leahys Auto Body/Towing as our associate sponsors. A big ‘thanks’ goes to Shawn at RV 4 Wheel Drive for stepping up and taking over the marketing duties for our team. It has been ten years since we’ve owned a sprint car team, so we don’t expect to set the world on fire, but we’re going to do our best; all we can do is try.”
