JONESTOWN, Pa. (April 12, 2021) – After what proved to be another up and down weekend, finishing 13th during his Kokomo Speedway visit on Friday, April 9, followed by an unfortunate “DNF” after utilizing a provisional at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday, April 10, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss will do his best to persevere and continue on down the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series trail for visits to Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, April 16-17. Adding some pep to the weekend’s step, the Devil’s Bowl visit, dubbed the Texas Outlaw Nationals, will award a $20,000 top prize.
Although Zearfoss has yet to visit Lawton and Devil’s Bowl with the Greatest Show On Dirt, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native is certainly familiar with the territory, as Zearfoss visited each of the facilities with the All Star Circuit of Champions in 2020. The 2021 World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year contender highlighted his All Star starts with an eighth-place performance at Devil’s Bowl after starting 14th on the evening grid.
Entering the Oklahoma and Texas double, Brock Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, is currently ninth in the WoO championship standings, padded by three top-ten finishes in 13 Series starts.
“We want to keep things rolling,” Brock Zearfoss said, a former Port Royal Speedway champion and Outlaws winner at Williams Grove Speedway. “Our goal right now is to find a little bit of momentum and consistency. Things are a little too up and down right now, but we’ll get things where they need to be. I have a great, hard working team and without their help, I’d be sitting at home right now. We have what it takes to beat the best in the world and we’re going to do what we can to accomplish that feat this weekend.”
