GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (July 25, 2022) – Prepping for the upcoming 360 Knoxville Nationals, Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing entered the 360 sprint car portion of Knoxville’s program on Saturday, July 23, and was almost perfect. In fact, Brown’s only defeat occurred during the evening’s A-Main where the Higginsville, Missouri, native finished second after starting from the outside of row two. A move around Altoona, Iowa’s Terry McCarl at the midpoint of the main event secured his runner-up result. Aaron Reutzel was the evening’s winner.

Brown, pilot of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Rowdy Energy, Ditzfeld transfer, Champion Brands, MC Power, Weld Wheels, Housby, Maxim Chassis, No. 21 sprint car, kicked-off the 360 sprint car portion with the fastest qualifying time of 32 entries, racing on to win his respective heat race from row three.

In addition, Brown, a three-time Knoxville Raceway winner in 2022 including one against the Greatest Show On Dirt, entered the 410 sprint car portion of Knoxville’s program and was scheduled to start seventh when Mother Nature appeared and ended action. It was actually the second time Mother Nature made an appearance on Saturday afternoon and evening, also causing a delay just before heat race action.

In just as impressive fashion, Brown kicked-off the 410 sprint car program with the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials, racing on to finish fifth in his respective heat race.

“In all, it was a great night for our Casey’s/FVP No. 21 at Knoxville Raceway. We felt great in both divisions, I just wish Mother Nature would have given us the opportunity to race the 410 feature, as well. Regardless, my guys did a phenomenal job and I’m proud of their efforts,” Brian Brown expressed. “We’re excited to race with the All Stars this weekend. With I-70 Speedway being right down the road from our shop, it gives us the opportunity to race in front of our hometown fans and friends.”

ON DECK:
Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2022 campaign with an All Star Circuit of Champions tripleheader, first visiting I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Missouri, on Thursday and Friday, July 28-29. One of the most sought after prizes on the All Star campaign trail, the annual Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race will be the highlight attraction, awarding $26,000 in the two-day finale.
