GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (July 5, 2022) – Another Knoxville Raceway start resulted in another top-five outcome for Grain Valley, Missouri’s Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing, this time advancing one position from fifth to finish fourth in the annual Mid-Season Championship on Saturday evening, July 2. There were 32 cars in attendance.
Blackjack, a three-time winner at the Sprint Car Capital of the World in 2022 including one against the Greatest Show On Dirt, kicked-off Saturday’s program with the ninth-fastest time overall, winning his respective heat race from fourth shortly thereafter.
“It was great to be back at Knoxville Raceway. We didn’t qualify as well as we wanted, but we were able to persevere and win our heat race from fourth. We felt real solid there,” Brown explained, ace of the Casey’s/FVP/Rowdy Energy/Andy’s Frozen Custard/No. 21 sprint car. “We were off just a tiny bit in the A-Main. This was actually a different car than what we’ve been running, so I think once we make some adjustments, we’ll be where we need to be. Regardless, the guys worked their butts off, as usual, and we were strong enough to score another top-five at Knoxville. This is a great momentum kick for our upcoming start at 34 Raceway.”

Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2022 campaign with a pair of stops in the Hawkeye State, first joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, on Friday, July 8, then returning to the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, for weekly action on Saturday, July 9.
