Butler Speedway Next for Holtgraver and Premier Motorsports
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
PITTSBURGH (June 9, 2016) – After a complete washout during the most recent weekend of competition, “Downtown” Danny Holtgraver and Pete Grove’s Premier Motorsports will continue their 2016 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions campaign this Saturday night, June 11, at the Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan. It will be Holtgraver’s first and only appearance at the “Battlegrounds” in 2016, a facility that has been kind to the Pittsburgh native on several occasions. Holtgraver is a former Arctic Cat All Star main event winner at the southern Michigan facility, capturing $5,000 on June 7, 2014.
“It’s always nice getting back to a track that you’ve been pretty good at. It gives us a little more confidence heading into the weekend,” explained Danny Holtgraver. “The weather hasn’t been too kind to us as of lately. We’ve been basically just trying to outrun the weather the last few weeks. We’re hoping for a solid start on Saturday without any distractions.”
Once competition in Michigan is complete, Danny Holtgraver and Premier Motorsports will begin preparations for Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Cometic Gasket, set to light up the state of Ohio beginning Friday night, June 17, at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. The nine day stretch will consist of eight different events at eight different dirt ovals, an annual tradition dating back over three decades.
“Ohio Sprint Speedweek is something you look forward to each and every year. It’s one of the most anticipated points on our schedule,” said Holtgraver, driver of the Linc Systems, Olympic Forest Products, Lutes Custom Cabinetry, Premier Pallet, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, Westview Motors, DKW Transport, J&J Auto Racing, Simpson Race Products, Fully Injected Motorsports, Winters, AL Driveline, No. 70. “There are a lot of things you have to take into consideration and a lot to prepare for. I’m fortunate enough to be a part of a great team, so being prepared won’t be an issue. Cody Jacobs does a great job with these race cars. Pete Grove, my car owner, gave me a great opportunity this year. Things have been slowly turning around and it’s really noticeable. I’m excited for the rest of the year.”
Danny Holtgraver will enter competition at Butler Speedway on Saturday, June 11, currently sixth in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions point standings. The Pittsburgh native owns one victory on the tour thus far in 2016, as well as six top-ten finishes in 12 main event starts.
