Charity Race and Hilly Rife Memorial on the Schedule for ‘Super’ Alan Krimes
Sits Second in the Lincoln Points Chase

Denver, PA (May 21st, 2015) – Back to business as usual this weekend for ‘Super’ Alan Krimes. The Denver, Pennsylvania native will make routine visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway this Friday and Saturday, May 22nd & 23rd; ready to continue his hunt for that first win of 2015. The driver of the Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 ‘ 410’ sprint car will enter the weekend 8th in the current Hoseheads Central Pennsylvania standings, and second in the Lincoln Speedway track championship chase.

“Things haven’t been too bad this year” said Alan Krimes, “We’ve been pretty good at Lincoln but caught some bad luck here and there at Williams Grove…we still have a long season ahead but time will go fast…we want to stay consistent and hopefully earn a few wins…we’ll work to get our first this weekend.”

‘Super’ Alan Krimes will jump start his Memorial Day weekend on Friday evening, May 22nd at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The annual charity race will take shape at the world famous half-mile oval on Friday night, with the ‘410’ feature winner choosing a charity of his/her choice that will receive a donation from Williams Grove Speedway. That donation will be determined by the evening’s 50/50 collection. The charity event will pay $4,000 to the main event winner.

On Saturday evening, Alan Krimes will venture back to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania for the annual ‘Hilly Rife Memorial.’ Krimes, the defending Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ track champion, will enter the Saturday night program currently second in the track championship title hunt on the strength of three top-five and seven top-ten finishes. The 2014 ‘champ’ trails current point leader Brian Montieth by 185 markers.

During recent sprint car competition, Alan Krimes joined the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at the Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday evening, May 13th for the ‘Gettysburg Clash.’ Krimes qualified for the 35-lap, $10,000-to-win A-main, and rallied from a 13th starting position to finish well inside the top-ten. The driver of the familiar ‘Super 87’ rolled under the final checkers seventh.
