By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (June 30th, 2015) – Third generation sprint car driver Chase Dietz continues to make huge steps in central Pennsylvania. The ‘410’ sprint car rookie, who graduated from ‘358’ sprint car competition full-time after earning a Lincoln Speedway track championship, has had his share of tough times and bad luck in 2015, but has since proved himself to be a future winning threat with the ‘Pennsylvania Posse.’ Dietz, who pilots the Scott Gobrecht owned,  Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, no. 44 ‘410’ sprint car, has entered two of the three Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek events during the last four days; earning an average finish of 13th during feature competition. The York, Pennsylvania native looks forward to rejoining the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek trail later this week back at the Lincoln Speedway.

“Things have been going pretty good lately” said Chase Dietz, “I really can’t thank Scott Gobrecht enough for this opportunity. We’ve molded into a great combination. I’m comfortable in the car and that is most important I think. We still have some work to do. Qualifying is still something we need to work on but we’ll get there. We are gaining so much valuable experience and we learn more and more every time I am on the track.”

Chase Dietz and the Scott Gobrecht ‘44’ team kicked off their Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek campaign with a 14th place performance at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday night, June 26th. The rookie would return to speedweek action on Monday night, June 29th at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania; finishing 12th during the 30-lap main event. Dietz qualified 16th out of the 37 competitors on Monday night, eventually earning his first heat race victory of the season in a ‘410’ sprint car.

The ‘44’ team is scheduled to return to Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek competition on Thursday, July 2nd back at the Lincoln Speedway for the annual ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial’ worth $7,000 to the main event winner. Chase Dietz will then make a return to the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening, July 3rd; entering the annual ‘Mitch Smith Memorial’ worth $10,000 to the main event winner. If all goes well, the Scott Gobrecht ‘44’ team may venture north to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania for another round of Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek competition on Saturday, July 4th. Dietz also discussed the possibility of entering the speedweek finale on Sunday, July 5th at the Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. A decision regarding Saturday and Sunday will be made later in the week.

“Excited to race again later this week, that is for sure” explained Chase Dietz, “We are really excited for the ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial’ on Thursday. This event is really special for my car owner and his family. I would love to get a win for the Gobrecht family during that event. A second visit to Williams Grove Speedway during speedweek wasn’t in our initial plan, but since we plan to enter the ‘National Open’ at the end of the year, we might as well get some extra track time. I just want to thank everyone involved with this team. It’s been a dream come true.”
