Two Events on Tap this Weekend for T.J. Michael
Waynesfield and Millstream Each on Holiday Agenda for ‘Texas Traveler’

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Fremont, Ohio (June 30th, 2015) – After spending a week on the road racing with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions during Ohio Sprint Weekend, and making a rare appearance at the I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, ‘410’ sprint car rookie T.J. Michael is ready to return to a ‘normal’ schedule. Michael, pilot of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Snap-On, no. 8M sprint car, will make two Ohio appearances during the upcoming holiday weekend; entering ‘360’ competition and UNOH All Star ‘410’ competition.

“It was a long week last week” said Michael, “We raced almost every night, but it was great for our team. We are still learning. Taking advantage of an opportunity to race almost every night is really important. We are learning a lot. Regardless, we’re ready to go back to normal for a little while.”

Michael, a Plano, Texas native who calls Fremont, Ohio home during his summer racing schedule, will visit the Waynesfield Raceway Park and Millstream Speedway during the upcoming weekend. The ‘Texas Traveler’ will kick things off with a visit to the Waynesfield Raceway Park near Waynesfield, Ohio on Saturday evening, July 4th; taking part in the 4th Annual ‘Bob Reynolds Memorial’ featuring the K&L Ready Mix NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders. Michael will join the ‘360’ sprint car competitors for the first time in 2015 and chase down the $7,500 top prize.

T.J. Michael will wrap up his upcoming holiday weekend on Sunday, July 5th with a visit to the recently reopened Millstream Speedway near Findlay, Ohio. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will be on the Sunday night card; offering a $5,000 payday. Michael joined the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions for most of their Ohio Sprint Speedweek schedule. The three-time ‘305’ sprint car main event winner in 2015 highlighted his speedweek campaign with a 16th place performance at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Thursday, June 25th.

“It’s going to be a fun weekend” said Michael, “This will be my first ‘360’ sprint car start of the year. We actually had to drive to Texas this week and pick up a motor. Millstream will be fun on Sunday. It’s always exciting to race with the All Stars. We didn’t have the best of speedweeks, but we’ll work to get up front this weekend. I just want to thank my dad and all of my supporters. It wouldn’t be possible without their help; especially Mike Melton. He allowed us to use his ‘360’ motor this weekend.”
