VINCENTOWN, N.J. (April 29, 2024) – Another start resulted in another top-ten performance for Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports, continuing their success streak in a return visit to Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, April 27.
Although just shy of matching their prior weekend performance – finishing fourth on Saturday, April 20 – Whittall raced on to finish sixth at the notorious Juniata County “Speed Palace,” maintaining his place within the Keith Kauffman Classic top-ten after starting in the exact same position. Whittall launched his preliminary effort with a heat race victory.
With the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series making their first Central Pennsylvania appearance of the season in less than two weeks, Whittall plans to utilize the coming weekend as a valuable test session, taking part in Williams Grove Speedway’s regularly hosted “Tune-Up” on Friday, May 3 – if Mother Nature can cooperate.
The Outlaw Tune-Up will award a $6,000 payday.
“We still have some work to do, but we’ll be ready. I’m confident in that,” Whittall, ace of his own JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, said. “Things are clicking right now and that’s an important piece of the puzzle. Qualifying is a huge part of any World of Outlaws program and we’re ready to get that nailed down on Friday. It should be an exciting few weeks.”
