Chase Dietz Donates Over $1,000 Towards Heather Baker Foundation
Lincoln Speedway On Deck; Potential Selinsgrove Visit on Sunday

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (May 20th, 2015) – Chase Dietz and Troy Godfrey are pleased to announce that they will be donating over $1,000 towards the Heather Baker Foundation. Dietz, who pilots the Troy Godfrey owned no. 5 ‘358’ sprint car at each and every ‘358/360’ event at the Williams Grove Speedway, recently earned a runner-up finish at ‘The Grove’ in the Godfrey ride, and will be donating all of the car’s earnings towards the mentioned charity. With the help of outside donors such as Barry Shearer Welding and Michael Fissel, Dietz and Godfrey were able to push their donation up over $1,000.

“This is really special” said Chase Dietz, “We had a great run at Williams Grove Speedway a few weeks back and finished second…we decided then to donate all of our earnings towards the Heather Baker Foundation…we had a few others join in on the generosity and also donate …our goal all season long is to give back to local charities after each ‘358’ race…we’ve been successful so far so hopefully we can continue to do this all year…I just want to thank Troy and Tammy Godfrey for the opportunity…they are great people and I am very proud to be a part of their race team.”

Chase Dietz and Troy Godfrey will continue to donate during the entire 2015 season. They are scheduled to return to action on Friday evening, May 29th at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Up next on the 2015 schedule is a pair of ‘410’ events in central Pennsylvania. Chase Dietz will return to the driver seat of the Scott Gobrecht owned, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, no. 44 ‘410’ sprint car and visit the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 23rd. The annual ‘Hilly Rife Memorial’ is on tap in the Pigeon Hills. If all goes well on Saturday night, the Scott Gobrecht ‘44’ team may make the trip north to the Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 24th. The ‘Fastest Half-Mile on the East Coast’ will host the annual ‘Ray Tilley Classic’ on Sunday evening worth $5,000.

During his most recent start, Chase Dietz joined the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, May 13th. Dietz drove the Scott Gobrecht ‘44’ to an 11th place finish during B-main competition. The York, Pennsylvania native and ‘410’ sprint car rookie finished 6th during his respective heat race; one spot shy of a transfer position. There were 47 cars entered.

“We were really happy with our results during the Outlaw show” said Chase Dietz, “To be on the same track as those guys was an amazing feeling…they are the best in the world…we were so close in the heat but fell one spot short…we have a lot of confidence now and we know what we are capable of…hopefully we can race both shows this weekend and build a little bit more momentum.”
