By Fully Injected Motorsports:
York, PA (June 16th, 2015) – Central Pennsylvania ‘410’ rookie Chase Dietz went head-to-head against the All Star Circuit of Champions at the Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 13th; earning a 13th place finish during A-main competition against a strong field of 40 All Star ‘410’ sprint cars. After recording the 17th fastest time during qualifying time trials, the York, Pennsylvania native earned his way into the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win feature event with a fifth place finish during heat race competition. Dietz raced as high as 11th during the 30-lap main event, but fell back to finish 13th at the checkers. The pilot of the Scott Gobrecht, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, no. 44 ‘410’ sprinter will return to ‘410’ action this Saturday night, June 20th back at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania for ‘BAPS Night.’
“Saturday was a great night for us” said Chase Dietz, “I’m really excited to get back there this weekend…I’m more comfortable now than I have ever been in a race car and that is an amazing feeling heading into the second half of my rookie year…I feel like we were a top-ten car against the All Stars but my limited experience got the best of me…I just want to thank Scott Gobrecht for this opportunity…this is a dream come true and I am enjoying every minute of it.”
Chase Dietz will also take part in ‘358’ sprint car competition during the upcoming weekend; piloting the Troy Godfrey owned no. 5 ‘358’ sprinter at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Williams Grove Speedway will host the $1,200-to-win ‘358’ championship on Friday night, June 19th. Dietz, a ‘358’ feature winner at Williams Grove Speedway back on May 29th, will continue to display absolute generosity with the Troy Godfrey race team and donate a portion of their earnings towards a local charity at the conclusion of this weekend’s ‘championship’ program. Dietz, along with the Hogue Family, will donate earnings towards the charity ‘Olivia’s House.’
“I want to thank the Hogue Family for coming on board this weekend” said Chase Dietz, “Troy Godfrey and I want to continue to donate all season long and the Hogue Family will join in on the effort this weekend…hopefully we can get back in victory lane this Friday and make the biggest donation yet.”
