Chase Dietz Will Battle for Williams Grove “358” Title on Friday
“Dirt Classic” Worth $20,000 on Saturday Plan for Lincoln Speedway

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (September 22, 2015) –  Third generation open wheel racer Chase Dietz will hunt for a second consecutive 358 sprint car track championship in central Pennsylvania this Friday night, September 25, at the historic Williams Grove Speedway near Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Dietz, who was the 2014 Lincoln Speedway “358” track champion, has been a full-time “358” competitor at “The Grove” in 2015, accumulating three victories with car owner Troy Godfrey and will enter the season-ending program this Friday night with a 20 point advantage in the championship standings. A Williams Grove Speedway title would be a career-first feat for the college freshman.

“We have a lot on the line this Friday night, but we are ready for it” said Chase Dietz about the season championship, “We just need to be smart and keep doing what we’ve been doing all season. I can’t thank Troy Godfrey enough for this opportunity. To have this much success during our first full year together is really special. There are a lot of great people affiliated with this race team. Hopefully we can work our way up front on Friday night and end the season on a high note.”

Like so many times before, Chase Dietz will transfer from one car to the next after Friday night’s “358” program at Williams Grove Speedway and prepare for 410 sprint car competition at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Dietz will rejoin the Scott Gobrecht owned, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, Baker Door Company, #44, 410 sprint car team this Saturday night, September 26, in hopes of earning a career-high payday during the $20,000-to-win, 2nd annual “Dirt Classic.” The York, Pennsylvania native, who is nearing the end of his first full season behind the wheel of a 410 sprint car, owns one victory in 2015 and will enter the prestigious “Dirt Classic” with a top-five finish during recent competition. The Dietz/Gobrecht duo finished fourth at Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven on Sunday evening, September 20.

“The ‘Dirt Classic’ is a big deal” said Chase Dietz,”This race attracts attention from all over the country. I am really thankful to be a part of it this year. I can’t thank Scott Gobrecht enough. We’ve been getting better and better. I still have some things I need to improve, but that will come with time and experience. I am proud of this team. Everyone works hard. We don’t want this season to end.”

Chase Dietz ended his regular season at Lincoln Speedway 11th in the final track championship standings. The “410” rookie earned one victory, one top-five and four top-ten finishes during his weekly campaign.
