Cody Bova Earns Pair of Podiums

Struthers, Ohio (August 11, 2015) – Cody Bova made the most of his recent weekend in western Pennsylvania; earning back-to-back podium finishes while piloting two different “305” sprint cars. The Struthers, Ohio native earned a third place finish at the Thunder Mountain Speedway near Brookville, Pennsylvania for car owner Skip Dougherty on Friday night, August 7. “Bonzai” Bova would continue his podium streak on Saturday, August 8 at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The pilot of the Bova Racing, J.S. Bova Excavating, AIMI Product Imagining, LLC., Richardson Tree Service, BC Contracting, J.S. Paris Excavating, #20B finished second in the running order after starting on the inside of the third row.
“Good weekend for us” said Cody Bova, “We want to keep up this consistency, but we also need to work our way towards the front. The season is starting to close down pretty quickly. If we want to earn a track championship, we’ll need to step it up just a little bit more. I just want to thank everyone who makes all of this possible. It has been an awesome season. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the year unfolds.”
Cody Bova will return to the Mercer Raceway Park with his Bova Racing #20B this Saturday night, August 15. The twenty-two-year-old will enter the weekend 11 points out of the top spot in the current Mercer Raceway Park track championship.
