Brent Marks Finishes Fourth with NSL During Front Row Challenge
Knoxville Nationals Next for BMR

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Knoxville, Iowa (August 11, 2015) – Brent Marks represented the state of Pennsylvania well on Monday evening, August 10; finishing fourth during the 20th annual Casey’s General Stores “Front Row Challenge” presented by Sea Foam Motor Treatment at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. There were 37 National Sprint League “410” sprint cars signed in for the $20,000-to-win event. Brent Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M sprint car, timed 9th quick overall on Monday evening, eventually finishing third during heat race competition and third during the evening’s “King of the Hill.”

“It was a great night for this 19M team and a great way to build some momentum before the Knoxville Nationals begin on Wednesday” said Brent Marks, “Southern Iowa Speedway is similar to some tracks we race at back home in Pennsylvania. We were able to adapt pretty quickly. We’ll move forward and try to continue this on Thursday when we qualify.”

It was Marks’ first top-five finish of his recent midwest swing, which kicked off with World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania native finished 12th with the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series on Friday night, August 7, followed by a 21st place performance on Saturday, August 8. Unfortunately, Marks would fail to qualify for the “Capitani Classic” main event on Sunday, August 9, at Knoxville Raceway; finishing 7th during B-main competition.

“We are excited for the rest of the week” said Marks, “The most important night of our season is Thursday. We’ll need to qualify well and move forward in our heat race. Hopefully we can have a solid night and lock ourselves into Saturday’s main event. That has been our goal since the start. We’ll work as hard as we can to make that happen.”

Brent Marks is scheduled to qualify on Thursday evening, August 13, for the “Knoxville Nationals.”
