Cody Bova Will Follow F.A.S.T. Full-Time in 2016

Struthers, Ohio (January 18, 2016) – Defending Mercer Raceway Park “Outlaw Sprint Warriors” champion Cody Bova will not chase a second consecutive championship, but instead commit to the entire Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) “305” Championship Series schedule in 2016. The Struthers, Ohio, native spent most of his 2015 season racing throughout western Pennsylvania, but will now turn his attention toward northwest Ohio on a near weekly basis.
“I am more than grateful for this opportunity” Cody Bova said, “A lot of people helped make this happen and I can’t thank them enough for their support. We’ve been tossing around the idea for a long time, but now we can make it a reality.”
Cody Bova, driver of the Bova Racing, J.S. Bova Excavating, AIMI Product Imagining, LLC., Richardson Tree Service, BC Contracting, No. 20B, will race head-to-head with some of the most talented open wheel racers in the region during his F.A.S.T. campaign, aiming to claim “Rookie of the Year” honors, as well as fight toward a series championship.
“We had an opportunity to race against the F.A.S.T. guys some last year” Bova explained, “It didn’t take us long to figure out that they are very good. Racing with that level of competition will help me improve as a driver. We lack some experience in that area, but we’ll try our best to learn quickly and get ourselves up front.”
In conjunction with the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “410” Championship Series, the F.A.S.T. organization sanctioned 11, 305 sprint car events in 2015, traveling to three different dirt facilities in northwest Ohio. Fremont Speedway and Attica Raceway Park hosted a combined ten programs, with Waynesfield Raceway Park hosting a lone event on Saturday, July 4th.
“We are molding our entire upcoming season around the F.A.S.T. schedule” Bova said, “That is our main priority this year. We are excited to get started!”
