Cody Bova Will Open Season at Attica Raceway Park
Near 40 Race Schedule On Deck for “Bonzai”

Struthers, Ohio (February 4, 2016) – Cody Bova will begin his 2016 season at the home of “Ohio’s Finest Racing.” Since announcing his plans to contend for the FAST “305” Series “Rookie of the Year” title in 2016, Bova has added to his upcoming schedule and will launch his new campaign at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday, March 25. It will be Bova’s first ever appearance at the one-third mile oval.
“We’ll open the year at Attica…trying to get some track time before our FAST Series schedule starts in mid-April” Cody Bova said, “We have a lot to learn about that place. We’ll use opening night as a test session. Our goal is to learn as much as we can and hopefully put it to good use during our first FAST Series event at Attica on April 22.”
Cody Bova, pilot of the J.S. Bova Excavating, AIMI Product Imagining, LLC., Richardson Tree Service, BC Contracting, J.S. Paris Excavating, No. 20B, 305 sprint car, plans to make nearly 40 starts during the 2016 season. The Struthers, Ohio, native will travel the entire FAST “305” Series schedule, as well as make routine visits to Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania, during non-FAST weekends. Bova is the 2015 Mercer Raceway Park “Outlaw Sprint Warriors” track champion.
The end of 2016 will prove to be just as competitive as the start, as “Bonzai” Bova plans to conclude the upcoming season with a pair of high profile events in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
The Jim Ford Classic at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, will feature 305 sprint car competition during both portions of the two-day program, taking to the speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 16-17, with the FAST “305” Series sanctioning Friday night, only. The 17th annual “Little Guys Nationals” at Mercer Raceway Park will follow his trip to Fremont. The two-day special will take shape on Friday and Saturday, September 23-24, and will also feature two complete programs for the 305 sprint cars.
“We always look forward to the multi-day shows” Bova said, “Always a lot of hype involved. It will be fun to end the year with a few two-day races. I just want to thank everyone who made this possible. I’m really excited to get started.”
