Allison Park, PA (August 1st, 2013) – After finishing fourth (4th) last Sunday evening, July 28th during RUSH crate late model feature action at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; Allison Park, Pennsylvania native Colton Flinner will return to ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ this Saturday evening, August 3rd for the annual ‘Jook George Classic’ worth $1,000 for the Sweeney RUSH Weekly Series crate late models. Flinner, who pilots the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, no. 75 crate late model, has yet to win the ‘Jook George Classic’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, but hopes to end that streak this Saturday night under the lights at ‘PPMS.’ Colton Flinner is a recent Sweeney RUSH Weekly Series winner at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in 2013; as well as owns two consecutive crate late model track championships at the big half mile in 2011 & 2012.
The ‘Jook George Classic’ is set to kick-off at 7:00PM on Saturday evening, August 3rd at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Western Pennsylvania’s top crate late model competitors are expected to be in attendance for the annual marquee event. The $1,000-to-win/$150-to-start main event will be twenty-five (25) laps in distance, and will start twenty-four (24) cars. The 2013 ‘Jook George Classic’ will also award points towards the overall RUSH ‘Sizzler Series’ standings at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Please visit www.ppms.com for more information.
