Colton Flinner Will Join Ultimate Super Late Model Series at ‘VMS’
‘USA 100’ On Deck at the Virginia Half-Mile

Allison Park, PA (May 15th, 2015) – A late week schedule change will send Colton Flinner eastbound to the Commonwealth of Virginia on Saturday evening, May 16th; set to take part in the ‘TireX USA 100’ at the Virginia Motor Speedway near Jamaica, Virginia. The 38th Annual ‘TireX USA 100,’ sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series, will award $10,000 to the main event winner. This will be a career-first super late model start at the state-of-the-art Virginia Motor Speedway facility.
“It was a last minute decision pretty much, but we are heading to Virginia tomorrow” said Colton Flinner, “It will be an exciting trip…we like to adventure out as much as we can and race at different tracks…Virginia Motor Speedway fits my driving style…I have a lot of experience racing on half-mile tracks…we’ll see what happens!”
During his most recent super late model start, Colton Flinner made a first ever appearance at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, May 9th. Flinner, driver of the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, no. 75 super late model, finished 12th at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile on Saturday night; charging forward ten positions from a 22nd starting position. Flinner’s experience on half-mile surfaces stretches deeper than his recent Port Royal Speedway visit. The Allison Park, Pennsylvania native is a two-time Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway crate late model track champion; a venue dubbed ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile.’
“I like the bigger tracks” explained Colton Flinner, “I just feel more comfortable racing on bigger tracks…requires momentum and you have to be smooth…I just want to thank my family and all of my sponsors for this opportunity…I am having the time of my life right now…it’s a real privilege.”
