Three Races Scheduled During Memorial Day Weekend

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Fremont, Ohio (May 18th, 2015) – For the third time already in 2015, T.J. Michael secured a victory during ‘305’ sprint car main event action. The Plano, Texas native, who commutes between Texas and Ohio each and every week to compete in open wheel competition, secured his third win of the season during a Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) program on Saturday evening, May 16th at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. It was Michael’s first F.A.S.T. victory of the season, and his first win at Fremont Speedway in 2015. ‘The Texas Traveler’ rallied from a third row starting position to win on Saturday night; holding off F.A.S.T. regulars Alvin Roepke and Jordan Ryan.

“Feels great to get this” said T.J. Michael, “We’ve been pretty good all year with our ‘305’ so I’m happy we are able to capitalize like this…I just want to thank everyone involved…this entire team works really hard…I’m not around during the week so having a group of guys like this to help with the car is really special…hopefully we can move some of this momentum into our ‘410’ program.”

T.J. Michael will continue his 2015 campaign with a trio of events in Ohio and Pennsylvania during Memorial Day weekend. The Texan will race in three separate ‘410’ sprint car events over a three day time period at two different facilities. The pilot of the Advanced Cast Stone, Kear’s Speed Shop, Fremont Fence Company, no. 8M ‘410’ sprint car will kick-off the holiday weekend with a trip to the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, May 22nd; followed by back-to-back UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions events at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday and Sunday, May 23rd & 24th.  Michael also plans to enter the ‘305’ sprint car portion of the Fremont Speedway ‘All Star’ weekend; once again behind the wheel of the B&L, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, no. 18 ‘305’ sprinter.

“We have a lot of racing coming up this weekend but we are excited about it” explained T.J.Michael, “The plan is to visit Lernerville Speedway before racing with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Fremont…hopefully everything goes smooth this week and the weather stays dry so we can make all of that happen…I just want to thank my Dad, Scott and everyone else involved…couldn’t do it without them…we are still learning a lot about our ‘410’ program…we’ll race as much as we can and continue to use what we learn.”

During his most recent ‘410’ sprint car start, T.J. Michael earned a 17th place performance at the Fremont Speedway on Saturday, May 16th. Michael earned his way into the 30-lap, $2,500-to-win F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series main event by way of transferring through the evening’s B-main. There were 31 cars on hand.
