Full Week Ahead for Brent Marks Racing!
Will Launch ‘Weekend’ on Tuesday at New Egypt

Myerstown, PA (May 18th, 2015) – After following the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series trail for five days, racing in areas of central Pennsylvania and New York, Brent Marks Racing will have an opportunity to enjoy one night off before returning to competition with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ this Tuesday night, May 19th at the New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, New Jersey. Marks will join the World of Outlaws in New Jersey for the ‘Jersey Outlaw Classic;’ officially launching a second consecutive busy week on the road with the World of Outlaws and ‘Pennsylvania Posse.’
“Extremely busy right now but that is the way we like it” said Brent Marks, “Being a full-time Outlaw team is a goal of ours, so anytime we can get out on the road a little bit and race with these guys, it gives us a little taste of that…we have a great group of sponsors with this race team…their support and dedication allows us to hit the road like we do…we are due for a win so hopefully we can get them one this weekend.”
After his visit to New Egypt, Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, no. 19M ‘410’ sprint car, will continue down the World of Outlaws path and rejoin the series yet again on Friday, May 22nd at The Dirt Track at Charlotte near Charlotte, North Carolina. The trip south to the ‘Circle K/NOS Energy Drink Outlaw Showdown’ will conclude Marks’ recent ten day swing with the World of Outlaws.
After his trip to North Carolina, Brent Marks will return home to Pennsylvania for the remainder of the Memorial Day weekend; highlighting his return with back-to-back events in ‘Posse Country.’ ‘The Myerstown Missile’ will visit the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 23rd, followed by a visit to the Selinsgrove Speedway near Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 24th.
“We’ll come back to PA right after Charlotte and the spend the holiday at home” said Brent Marks, “Even when it’s not a holiday, it’s tough to travel when you have big events right in your backyard…we like racing at Port Royal as well as Selinsgrove…both are big half-mile ovals that require a lot of momentum and a lot of speed…hopefully we can get that first win of the year this weekend…we’ve been close, just not close enough.”
During recent competition, Brent Marks joined the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on three consecutive occasions in Pennsylvania and New York; highlighted with an 8th place performance at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, May 13th. Marks also earned two other feature starts with the World of Outlaws during the recent weekend; finishing 18th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 15th, and 21st at Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, New York on Sunday, May 17th.
“It wasn’t a great weekend but we learned a lot” said Marks, “We struggled in some areas but now we know what we need to change…we’ll put that all to good use this weekend.”
