York, PA (April 22nd, 2013) – Cory Haas is the most recent ‘410’ sprint car winner at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; and hopes to use that momentum wisely this Friday evening, April 26th, when the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions roll into Central Pennsylvania. The UNOH All Stars, lead by Dale Blaney, Cap Henry, Tim Shaffer, and Danny Holtgraver, will visit the Williams Grove Speedway half-mile this Friday evening for the first time in 2013. The UNOH All Star program will be highlighted with a 30 lap, $5,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars. Cory Haas has never won an UNOH All Star main event, but looks forward to changing that statistic this weekend when ‘America’s Series’ makes it’s presence in ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory.

Cory Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc., York P-B Truss, Inc,. ‘11C’ sprint car, will enter the weekend seventh (7th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL CENTRAL PA SPRINT CARS Presented by HOSEHEADS standings. Haas has earned one (1) win thus far in 2013; that coming at the Williams Grove Speedway back on Friday evening, April 12th. The former Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ Sprint Car Track Champion earned a runner-up finish during his most recent start in Central Pennsylvania; that coming last Saturday evening at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Action at Williams Grove Speedway this Friday night is set to begin at 7:30PM. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ format will include warm-ups, time trials, respective heat races, dash, consolation mains (if needed), and a 30-lap, $5,000-to-win main event. The ARDC Midgets will also be on the evening card. For more information, please visit the official online home of the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at www.allstarsprint.com.

On Saturday, April 27th, Cory Haas, and the entire Barshinger/Haas operation, will make their way back to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania for regular night of ‘410’ competition. Haas currently sits tenth (10th) in the Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ standings; on the strength of two (2) top five finishes and four (4) top ten finishes. Unfortunately enough, Haas’ year so far at Lincoln Speedway has been more disappointing than rewarding. The York, Pennsylvania native has been involved in three (3) on-track red flags; all of which resulting in DNF’s. The ‘11C’ team looks forward to reversing the Lincoln Speedway curse this weekend, and park themselves in victory lane.
