Abbottstown, PA (March 10th, 2013) – After two consecutive weeks of bad luck and being upside-down, Dallastown, Pennsylvania’s Cory Haas found his way out of the ‘rut’ and scored a podium finish at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Haas finished third in Saturday afternoon’s 25 lap, ‘410’ sprint car main event in the Pigeon Hills; crossing under the checkers just behind Lance Dewease and winner, Brent Marks. There were 25 ‘410’ sprinters signed-in for action at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway; including many of Central Pennsylvania’s finest.

Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger owned ‘11C’ sprinter each and every weekend in ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory, finished second during his respective heat race to kick-off the Saturday afternoon, March 9th program. The former Lincoln Speedway winner and ‘358’ sprint car track champion would then start the main event from the outside of row number one. Despite having trouble with starts, and restarts, Haas would be able to maintain good position and earn a third place finish.

“Feels good, man!” said Haas about Saturday’s performance, “We were having some tough luck there for a while…Saturday was much better…still had some trouble with our starts and restarts but things were obviously much better than the last two races!”

Haas and the entire Barshinger ‘11C’ team will be back in action next Saturday evening, March 16th, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Next Saturday’s program will be Lincoln’s first evening show of the 2013 season. You can find out more about Lincoln Speedway’s upcoming schedule at their online home: www.lincolnspeedway.com
