York, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected star, Cory Haas, will close out his 2011 racing season this weekend at Lincoln and Williams Grove Speedway’s. Although the Haas 11c is particularly familiar with both central PA facilities, this weekend’s schedule is slightly flip flopped – giving a new look to this weekend’s highly anticipated events.
Instead of traveling to Williams Grove Speedway this Friday night for sprint car competition, Haas, and the entire 11c operation, will venture to Lincoln Speedway, in the Pigeon Hills of Pennsylvania, for a twin 20’s format. This 59th Anniversary rescheduled event will be the last race at Lincoln for 2011; and will feature two-20 lap sprint car main events. Haas has had a lot of success at the 3/8’s mile oval in his career; including many 358 and 410 sprint car victories.
On Saturday night, Haas will venture back up route 15 to Williams Grove Speedway for their annual Fall Fest event. A feature only invitational format will be used Saturday night; inviting the top 24 drivers in the final 410 sprint car standings to race in a season ending ‘Fall Fest’ feature. Haas finished his Williams Grove season 10th in the overall 410 point standings; allowing him to start in row number 5 before the inversion is determined.
The sprint car main event will be 25 laps in distance; with an inversion being used to determine the starting line up. There will be no time trials or heat races; strictly feature only.
