York, PA (June 26th, 2013) – Cory Haas of York, Pennsylvania plans to make several ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ appearances in 2013; which includes participating in the scheduled stops at the Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and Hagerstown Speedway (MD). Haas, who is the sole wheel-man for long time car owner, Mike Barshinger, hopes to secure multiple wins during his partial speedweek campaign, and initiate a whole new level of momentum for his ‘11C’ operation.

Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., no. 11C ‘410’ sprint car, has intentions to enter at least five (5) events over the course of the 23rd Annual ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek.’ The former multi-time ‘358’ sprint car track champion at Williams Grove Speedway, and Lincoln Speedway, will be in action for both speedweek events at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, June 28th & Friday, July 5th; both speedweek events at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 29th & Thursday, July 4th; and the Wednesday evening, July 3rd Hagerstown Speedway stop in Hagerstown, Maryland. Each and every ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ event in 2013 will award at least $5,000 to the ‘410’ sprint car main event winner; with only a few exceptions. The Thursday, July 4th ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial’ program at the Lincoln Speedway will award $7,000 to the main event winner; and Williams Grove Speedway’s second speedweek event, known as the ‘Mitch Smith Memorial,’ on Friday, July 5th will award $10,000 to the main event winner. Haas’ 2013 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ campaign will begin on Friday evening, June 28th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Cory Haas and the Barshinger ‘11C’ team will enter their partial ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ campaign eleventh (11th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL CENTRAL PA SPRINT CARS Presented by HOSEHEADS standings; on the strength of one (1) ‘410’ sprint car main event victory in 2013. Haas’ only triumph of 2013 thus far came at the Williams Grove Speedway back on April 12th. The York native hopes to better that statistic as early as this Friday night.
