Nine Sprint Car Races in Ten Days for the Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’

Denver, PA (June 25th, 2013) – Alan Krimes will hit the road for ten (10) straight days beginning this Friday evening, June 28th as the 23rd Annual ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ is set to kick-off at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Krimes, who pilots the Conestoga Valley Garage, Krimes Racing Engines, no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car, has committed to the entire 2013 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ schedule, and will attempt to better his performance from a year ago. The Denver, Pennsylvania native will participate in nine (9) different events over the course of (10) days during this year’s speedweek schedule; including trips to the Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Big Diamond Speedway, Grandview Speedway, Hagerstown Speedway, Port Royal Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway. The 2013 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ tour will visit each of those facilities at least one time; with the exception of Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway which will each host two separate speedweek events. Alan Krimes finished second (2nd) in the 2012 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ standings. The Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team has been super consistent in all parts of Central Pennsylvania over the past few weeks, and hopes to use recent momentum in their favor during the ten day speedweek tour.

Alan Krimes and the Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team will kick-off the 2013 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ schedule this Friday evening, June 28th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. After the Williams Grove Speedway speedweek opener, the schedule makes appearances at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 29th; Big Diamond Speedway on Sunday, June 30th; Grandview Speedway on Tuesday, June 2nd; Hagerstown Speedway on Wednesday, July 3rd; Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, July 4th; Williams Grove Speedway on Wednesday, July 5th; Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, July 6th; and finally, rounding out the week at the Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, July 7th. Each speedweek program will award at least $5,000 to the ‘410’ sprint car main event winner. The only exceptions are the July 4th and July 5th programs. The Thursday, July 4th program at the Lincoln Speedway will award $7,000 to the main event winner; with Williams Grove Speedway’s second speedweek event on Friday, July 5th awarding $10,000 to the main event winner.

Alan Krimes will enter the 23rd Annual ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ schedule tied for fifth (5th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL CENTRAL PA SPRINT CARS Presented by HOSEHEADS standings; on the strength of three (3) ‘410’ sprint car main event victories, including an UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main event win, this season. Wins have taken place at the Williams Grove Speedway (1) and the Lincoln Speedway (2) thus far during Alan Krimes’ 2013 campaign.
