Danny Dietrich Sixth at Susquehanna; Central PA Triple-Header on Deck!

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (April 11, 2016) – Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing continued their heavy display consistency on Sunday night, April 10; finishing sixth during feature competition at the Susquehanna Speedway near York Haven, Pennsylvania. “Double-D” earned his eighth top-ten finish of the 2016 season after starting seventh on the feature grid; a direct result from finishing fourth during his respective heat race. The Sunday night visit to Susquehanna Speedway equalled his eleventh start of the year, the first in York Haven.
Dietrich’s scheduled visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 8-9, were each cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
“The results are good and the consistency is there, we just aren’t where we need to be yet,” explained Danny Dietrich. “We have the ability to win races, we just haven’t found that perfect adjustment with the car. Our time will come. I have a great group of guys who never give up and work their butt’s off every week. Once we get over that hump, we’ll be in great shape.”
Danny Dietrich will resume his 2016 season with three more events in Pennsylvania this Friday through Sunday, April 15-17. The triple-header weekend will launch on Friday night, April 15, at the Williams Grove Speedway, followed by a stop at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in the Pigeon Hills on Saturday evening, April 16. The upcoming weekend will conclude with a visit to the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania, on Sunday night, April 17. “Double-D” will join the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions during his Bedford visit, working to upset the regional travelers on what most would consider Posse’s “home dirt.”
“We always look forward to busy weekends, especially if we get to race against a traveling series like the All Stars,” said Danny Dietrich, pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Hickory Run Orchards, Weikert’s Livestock, Carlisle Auto Salvage, CATS Used Truck Parts, No.48. “Hopefully Mother Nature cooperates this weekend and allows all three days to take place. Our game plan is always the same; work hard to get up front and work for wins. I just want to take the time to thank all of those who support this race team, including our sponsors and fans. We’ll work to get them a win this weekend.”
