Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing Ready for All Star Return on Friday at Atomic
Three Events in Three Days for Phoenix Racing

Pittsburgh, PA (July 30th, 2015) – Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing will return to UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition beginning tomorrow evening – Friday, July 31st – at the Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, Ohio. The Phoenix Racing, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, DKW Transport, Auto Electric of Jupiter, Florida, Southern Pacific Farms, #59 team will debut a new car on Friday night; hoping to mold a new starting point for the last half of the 2015 season. Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing will join the UNOH All Stars for all three scheduled events during the upcoming weekend.
“We took some time to figure out what we needed to change” explained Holtgraver regarding their absence from All Star action last weekend at Hartford and Wilmot, “It was pretty obvious that we were struggling. We needed to take a step back and basically start over. We put together a brand new J&J this week and we’ll use the upcoming weekend as a starting point for the rest of the year. Hopefully we can get things going pretty quick.”
Phoenix Racing will join the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, Ohio on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st. The “Open Wheel Championships,” featuring back-to-back UNOH All Star programs, will highlight the Atomic Speedway oval; awarding $5,000 on Friday and $10,000 on Saturday. Danny Holtgraver’s upcoming weekend will conclude with UNOH All Star competition at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 2nd.
“We’ve had some success at both of the tracks we visit this weekend” Holtgraver said, “We need to get our confidence back. A solid start on Friday will allow that to happen.”
