No stranger to USAC Mopar National Midget Series victory lane, Darren Hagen found himself there again tonight; winning the 2011 USAC Mopar National Midget Series Indiana Midget Week opener at Gas City I-69 Speedway in Gas City, Indiana. Darren is the current USAC National Midget points leader as well as being the 2010 National Midget pavement champion. Darren is a native to Riverside, California.
Indiana Midget Week continues tomorrow evening at the Lincoln Park Speedway.
The All-Star Circuit of Champions are also in racing action tonight; at the Fonda Speedway in Fonda, New York. The All Stars were under a rain delay earlier this evening and just now are beginning to conduct time trials. There are 24 – 410 sprint cars with the All Stars tonight at Fonda.
