Dietrich Continues Consistent Start with Three Additional Top-Ten Finishes;
Cashes In Sixth at Bedford Against Arctic Cat All Stars

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (April 18, 2016) – Danny Dietrich increased his 2016 top-ten total to eleven during the recent weekend, recording three consecutive top-ten performances in Central Pennsylvania between Friday, April 15, and Sunday, April 17. The Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, native has only finished outside of the top-ten three times thus far in 2016; all three resulting from mechanical issues or contact.

“We’ve been consistent, which is important, but we are still a little short of where we need to be,” explained Danny Dietrich, pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Hickory Run Orchards, Weikert’s Livestock, Carlisle Auto Salvage, CATS Used Truck Parts, No.48. “We are out here to win races, so we won’t stop searching for ways to better ourselves until that happens. Either way, I’m proud of my guys and their hard work. We have an amazing support group and a lot of dedicated fans that stick behind us.”

”Double-D” launched his weekend top-ten streak on Friday night, April 15, at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg. Dietrich rolled under the final checkers third in the running order; his fourth consecutive top-ten finish in four starts at the paperclip in 2016. The weekend continued on Saturday evening, April 16, at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown where Dietrich finished tenth during main event competition, kicking off the evening program with a victory during his respective heat race. Dietrich’s third and final top-ten took shape during Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition on Sunday, April 17; finishing sixth during the 25-lap, $5,000-to-win, Coffee Pot Classic at the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania. It was his first start against the traveling All Stars in 2016, advancing one position after starting on the inside of row four.

Up next on the schedule is another three-race weekend in the heart of Central Pennsylvania; returning to familiar grounds in Mechanicsburg and Abbottstown, all before trekking north for a Sunday night stop in Selinsgrove. The Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial at Williams Grove Speedway, worth $6,000 to the main event winner, will kick start the upcoming weekend on Friday, April 22, followed by a return to Lincoln Speedway in the Pigeon Hills on Saturday, April 23. Dietrich’s Central Pennsylvania triple-header will conclude on Sunday evening, April 24, at the Selinsgrove Speedway; joining the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions for another shot at $5,000 during the Ray Tilley Classic.

“We enjoy busy weekends,” said Danny Dietrich. “Racing three nights a week keeps us working hard and motivated. You don’t really have much time to relax or dwell on prior results; you’re constantly focused and preparing for what’s ahead. I’m excited for the busy part of the season.”
