Dietz Charges From 23rd to 8th at Williams Grove Speedway
Back to Work this Friday and Saturday in Central Pennsylvania

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (May 6th, 2015) – Despite oil line issues early in the program and having to start deep during Friday night’s ‘358’ sprint car main event at Williams Grove, Chase Dietz would turn the night around quickly and rally fifteen positions to score a top-ten finish for Troy Godfrey and the Godfrey Racing Engines no. 5 team. Dietz started 23rd during the 20-lap, ‘358’ feature event at Williams Grove Speedway last Friday evening, May 1st, and charged to an 8th place finish. The York, Pennsylvania native, along with sponsor Brenneman Painting, happily donated $410 to the Central PA Food Bank over the weekend; adding to their success from Friday night. Dietz and Godfrey Racing will continue to donate to local charities throughout the 2015 racing season.

“Wasn’t a bad night” said Dietz, “We had an oil line problem after warm ups and got it resolved pretty quickly…unfortunately, we had some oil issues again in the heat race and had to pull in, forcing us to start 23rd in the feature…we got going really good and finished 8th…can’t thank Troy Godfrey enough for this opportunity…I want to also thank Brenneman Painting for stepping forward and matching our donation to charity on Friday evening…we will continue to do that all season long…anyone interested in being a part of it can contact me anytime.”

During other recent starts, Chase Dietz recorded a 14th place finish at the Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 3rd; driving the Scott Gobrecht owned, Bad Boy Buggies, Golf Cart Services, no. 44 ‘410’ sprint car during the Sunday sprint car special.

Chase Dietz will return to competition this Friday and Saturday, May 8th & 9th for another weekend of ‘358’ and ‘410’ sprint car action. The 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ sprint car track champion will jump back behind the wheel of the Godfrey Racing Engines no. 5 ‘358’ sprinter at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening, May 8th; followed by a full night of ‘410’ racing in the Scott Gobrecht ‘44’ at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 9th.
