Fargo, North Dakota native, Donny Schatz, picked up the $12,000 winner’s share tonight with the All-Star Circuit of Champions at the Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, North Dakota. Kasey Kahne Racing’s substitute for Joey Saldana, Brad Sweet, was 2nd; with David Gravel, Sammy Swindell, and Tim Shaffer rounding out the top 5. Donny Schatz set the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials with the All-Stars this evening. There were 40 cars in attendance for the midweek event. NASCAR superstar, Tony Stewart, finished ninth in the feature evening after winning the B-main.
The All Stars will now pack up and head to Wisconsin for another shot at completing the event at Amsoil Speedway. The original date for the event was last night; but wet conditions forced the series to postpone the event until tomorrow night. Amsoil Speedway’s event in Superior, Wisconsin, will mark the end of the Great Plains portion of the All-Star schedule.
