Eastbound and Down: T.J. Michael Preps for Four New Tracks in Four Days

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

FREMONT, Ohio (August 15, 2016) – Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions rookie contender T.J. Michael will continue his campaign with “America’s Series” this Thursday through Sunday, August 18-21, with visits to four different facilities in four days, circling areas of Central Pennsylvania before capping off the long weekend in Upstate New York. All four facilities will be new to the Plano, Texas, native, increasing his new track total to 20 on the season.

“We didn’t end up racing at Knoxville, or the weekend before that, so we’ve been hanging out the last two weeks. We’re definitely anxious to get back to the track,” Michael explained. “One of the main reasons we decided to jump on the All Star deal this season was to gain experience on new surfaces and visit new tracks; that is exactly what we’ve been doing. I enjoy the travel and I enjoy gaining the experience. It’s been a huge benefit to our race program which is obviously exciting. We are up against some stout local competition this weekend so we’ll do our best to work our way into the show and finish respectively.”

The “Texas Traveler” will join his fellow Arctic Cat All Stars in “Posse Country” during the first three stops on the upcoming weekend schedule, visiting Grandview Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, and the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Thursday through Saturday. The four-race campaign will conclude on Sunday night, August 21, at the Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, New York. The New York visit will award $7,000 to the main event winner, also guaranteeing $1,000-to-start.

T.J. Michael, pilot of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, Kistler Racing Engines, Maxim Race Cars, MJ Webb Enterprises, No. 8M, is currently seventh in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions standings, earning four top-ten finishes and 26 main event starts.

“I can’t thank my family, team, and sponsors enough for their dedication and support,” Michael said. “To race a full-time schedule like this has been an awesome experience. I owe it all to those names on the car.”
