KNOXVILLE, Iowa (March 5, 2024) – Another start resulted in another top-ten finish for Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) and Cory Eliason, doing so in Volusia Speedway Park’s Bike Week Jamboree on Monday, March 4. Eliason, who entered the week night program on the coattails of a recent top-ten performance at Golden Isles Speedway in Waynesville, Georgia, finished ninth in his Volusia appearance, lining up in the exact same position.
In all, Eliason, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprinter, put together a productive evening with the Greatest Show On Dirt, kicking things off with the third-fastest qualifying time, racing on to finish fifth in his respective heat race.
A fifth-place finish in the evening’s Dash Qualifier set-up Eliason’s eventual A-Main starting spot.
“A pretty consistent evening for our team. We’re still working the kinks out, but I’m becoming more and more comfortable and that’s most important,” Eliason noted. “We’re not too sure of our plan for March. We’ll more than likely take a weekend or two off before resuming our season. Our High Limit schedule picks back up in early April, so we’ll be sure to be ready for that.”
ON DECK:
Ridge & Sons Racing and Cory Eliason [No. 8] are unsure of upcoming plans. Their High Limit Sprint Car Series schedule will not resume until Tuesday, April 9, when the High Rollers visit Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, for a $20,000-to-win Midweek Money Series event.

Highlighted “Battle at the Bay” at East Bay Raceway Park with 19th-place finish on Monday, February 12. Finished ninth (HL) at Golden Isles Speedway in Waynesville, Georgia, on Thursday, February 22. Finished ninth in Volusia Speedway Park’s Bike Week Jamboree (WoO) on Monday, March 4.
