VINCENTOWN, N.J. (March 4, 2024) – Justin Whittall’s 2024 agenda has been a busy one to say the least, but it’s time to add another chapter, as the Vincentown, New Jersey, ace is set to activate Port Royal Speedway’s schedule with their annual season opener on Saturday, March 9.
Whittall, who opened the new year with action at Volusia Speedway Park under car owner Glenn Styres, followed by back-to-back appearances at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway, is certainly no stranger to the Port Royal Speedway half-mile, earning a late-season victory at the state-of-the-art complex in 2022.
In addition, Whittall’s recent Port Royal stat card includes a top-ten score in the Bob Weikert Memorial opener on May 27, and a 13th-place score in the prestigious Tuscarora 50 on Thursday, October 5 – each event featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions.
As noted, much of Whittall’s early season focus has been aimed on the Pigeon Hills, finishing 17th in his most recent Lincoln start on March 3 after kicking off the program with a runner-up performance during heat race competition.
“We’re ready to get back to Port Royal Speedway,” Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, said. “We enjoy visiting Lincoln when the schedule allows, but our main focus has always been on Port Royal. Our team has a pretty solid foundation built around that place and we’re confident we can open their season in a big way. Hopefully Mother Nature plays nice and we can get the year rolling.”
