KNOXVILLE, Iowa (February 26, 2024) – It was a productive weekend in the Peach State for Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), not only earning their first top-ten score of the season, but ultimately capping their two-race slate at Golden Isles Speedway in Waynesville, Georgia, with a Hard Charge on Saturday, February 24.
Eliason, ace of the RSR, Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprint car, finished ninth in his top-ten appearance, bumping ahead two spots after starting the Thursday night program from the inside of row six. The Californian launched the evening showcase with the 13th-fastest qualifying time, driving on to finish fourth during his respective heat race.
As noted, Eliason raced on to conclude Deuces Wild with a Hard Charging performance on Saturday, persevering to battle ahead five spots from 24th to 19th.
“We have a long season ahead of us, so it feels good to build some rhythm. We would have rather ended our weekend with a better end result on Saturday, but we’ll take it and move ahead,” Eliason explained. “Can’t thank Brian and Lisa Ridge for the opportunity to drive their cars. We’re excited to get back to Volusia and continue our season with another big weekend.”

Ridge & Sons Racing and Cory Eliason [No. 8] will continue their 2024 campaign with Volusia Speedway Park’s Bike Week Jamboree on Sunday and Monday, March 3-4.
