North Jackson, OH (July 11th, 2013) – Western Pennsylvania will be the center of Jack Sodeman Jr.’s attention this Friday and Saturday, July 12th & 13th; as the North Jackson, Ohio native plans to participate in two (2) ‘weekly’ sprint car events at the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park. Each facility will be hosting their respective ‘weekly’ racing programs during the upcoming weekend; which will offer not only the usual purse monies and incentives, but also full points towards each track championship. Sodeman Jr., who pilots the Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, Economy Tooling, Glassmere Fuel Services, no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car, will enter the weekend as the current runner-up in both, Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park, track championship chases. The North Jackson, Ohio native owns three (3) ‘410’ sprint car victories thus far in 2013; with all three (3) occurring at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.
Jack Sodeman Jr. and Rudzik Racing will kick-off their upcoming weekend at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, July 12th. The Sarver 4/10’s mile oval will be hosting a ‘Fab Four’ weekly racing program this Friday night; featuring all four (4) of the facility’s weekly divisions. Jack Sodeman Jr. will enter the ‘Fab Four’ event second (2nd) in the current Lernerville Speedway sprint car track championship chase. The former Sharon Speedway sprint car track champion owns three (3) wins the world-famous Lernerville Speedway in 2013; including a non-wing Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) win that occurred just last weekend. Sodeman Jr. trails current point leader and fellow 2013 Lernerville Speedway winner, Brandon Spithaler, by just eighteen (18) markers entering the July 12th ‘Fab Four’ event. The Rudzik Racing operation will turn their attention to the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, July 13th; for another edition of their ‘Saturday Night Live!’ weekly racing card. Like the Lernerville Speedway, Jack Sodeman Jr. finds himself second (2nd) in the current Mercer Raceway Park sprint car championship hunt; trailing defending Mercer Raceway Park track champion, Eric Williams, by forty-five (45) points. Sodeman Jr. has yet to win a ‘410’ main event at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval in 2013, but has plans to change that statistic this Saturday night. Jack Sodeman Jr. also has plans to race against the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series on Tuesday evening, July 16th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The annual ‘Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup’ will be the featured program on Tuesday evening; highlighted with the ever-popular twin 30-lap features for ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt;’ each awarding $15,000 to their respective winner. Jack Sodeman Jr. has already earned himself an automatic starting spot in the twin 30-lap, WoO STP Sprint Car Series features; having won the ‘Silver Cup’ qualifier/Mid-Season Championship at the Lernerville Speedway.
Recent results for Jack Sodeman Jr. include a Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing sprint car victory at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania last Friday evening, July 5th. The B.O.S.S. win was Sodeman Jr.’s third (3rd) of his career, as he leads the series in all-time victories.
