Family Sponsor Boosts Bova’s Performance on the Race Track
Will Continue Partnership in 2016

Struthers, Ohio (November 4, 2015) – The 2015 season proved to be a career year for limited/305 sprint car pilot Cody Bova. The Struthers, Ohio, native, known as “Bonzai” to most of the racing community, captured six main event victories during his recent campaign, finding victory lane at two different western Pennsylvania circuits, ultimately clinching the 2015 Mercer Raceway Park “Outlaw Sprint Warriors” track championship. With many positive factors acting responsible for Bova’s career year, it is the support from J.S. Bova Excavating, a family-owned excavating service, that Bova holds most responsible for his success.
“Bova Racing has grown into a true family activity” explained Cody Bova, “Everyone in my family plays a big part in my racing career and I am truly appreciative of that. My family’s (J.S. Bova Excavating) acts as my primary sponsor and a big reason for my success. It not only helps fund my race team, but it has also taught me a lot about having a good work ethic, responsibility and the ability to promote those who support me. Working for my family’s company and racing for my family has allowed me to understand how hard work and dedication can create success – on and off the race track.”
“J.S. Bova Excavating is a small, family-owned excavating service that focuses mainly on underground utilities and site work” explained Joe Bova; Cody’s father and owner of J.S. Bova Excavating, “Our primary work area is in eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.”
“Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been a fan of racing and anything related to motorsports” Joe Bova said, “I wanted my sons to be involved, so when the time came, we started them in go-karts and moved forward from there. Involvement in motorsports has allowed our family to grow closer, as well as create great relationships and connections through other racers and supporters. I will continue my support, no matter the direction, as long as possible.”

Cody Bova will continue to partner with J.S. Bova Excavating in 2016. Plans for the upcoming season will be released in the coming weeks. Preliminary scheduling ideas include joining the 305 sprint car ranks in northwestern Ohio for Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “305” Championship Series competition.
